Moo design was commissioned to produce this piece by the Mawson's Huts Foundation in 2007. It is a reproduction of the campaign chair in which Sir Douglas Mawson wrote his journals and letters during his Australian Antarctic Expedition in 1912. The chair remains in his quarters in Antarctica to this very day. One third of the proceeds from sales of this chair are contributed to the Foundation.
